Open to graduate opportunities
Data, mathematics
& thoughtful code.
I'm Fraser, a Computer Science and Mathematics graduate now studying Data-Intensive Analysis at the University of St Andrews. I use statistics, programming and mathematical reasoning to solve quantitative problems.

Let's solve something
interesting.
I'm looking for graduate opportunities across data, analytics and quantitative roles.
01
About
My interests sit at the intersection of statistics, data and computation. I particularly enjoy problems where mathematical reasoning and programming can be used together—from statistical modelling and machine learning to computational methods.
My computer science background means I can do more than analyse a problem: I can build the tools needed to explore it, test it and communicate the result.

02
Selected projects
A mix of statistical research, machine learning and systems work.
Quantum Conformal Prediction
A framework for training parameterised quantum circuits and evaluating them using conformal prediction.
Chess Engine
A fully functional chess engine and GUI written in C++, featuring minimax search with alpha-beta pruning.
RGB-D Object Classification
An early fusion CNN for RGB-D object classification using TensorFlow and Bayesian hyperparameter optimisation.
03
Now
Currently studying for an MSc in Data-Intensive Analysis at St Andrews.
This semester I'm developing my knowledge of statistical modelling, data analysis and statistical computing while continuing to use the programming and mathematical skills from my undergraduate degree.
04
Notes
Occasional writing about programming, data and things I'm learning.
